CONSULTANCY
Supporting organisations to engage and assist gamers and their parents.
Let’s collaborate
The Institute of Games stays abreast of the research and evidence on the impact of video games on children and young people. We collate this information and use it as a basis for all our workshops and programs.
Based on this information we develop resources, action plans, engagement strategies that are youth friendly and relevant to today’s world.
We can provide you with the knowledge, tools and information needed to reach gamers and their families. We also bring technical knowledge and skills to create online resources including animation, games and websites.
We work with governments, not for profit organisations, game development studios, local sport clubs to help them create safe and healthy spaces online.

We worked with AMF to develop an explainer video on the popular video game Fortnite including tips for parents on how to ensure Fortnite is a fun, safe and healthy pastime for their kids.
Preventing car accidents
We worked with neighborhoods Australia to develop a game that raises awareness about driver distraction. The game targeted young drivers.
Gaming events
We collaborate with local organisations to set up safe and positive gaming events, engaging hundreds of young people and connecting them to positive activities and local groups and services.
